Tater Tot Casserole

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  1. Cook the Beef:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is fully cooked and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  1. Combine Ingredients:
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  1. Layer the Casserole:
  • In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly across the bottom.
  • Top the beef mixture with shredded cheese.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the cheese in a single layer.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
  1. Serve:
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
